Là Một
Là Một (As One) is a short documentary capturing the reflections, memories, and daily life of an aging father in the Mekong Delta. Rather than following a conventional timeline, the film connects fragments of his life through raw and organic sensory moments.
Through a voice weathered and slowed by time, the father shares memories of a peaceful childhood by the river, the gentle presence of Irrawaddy dolphins from the past, and a deeply rooted respect for every living thing, to the quiet courtesy of golden ants in his garden. Amidst a changing landscape, the film stands simply as a quiet observation of an old man's resilient adaptation, quiet faith, and simple love for his homeland, a place where he feels humanity and nature ultimately share the same frequency
